It is a story of a young man from a fareway high mountainous province whose family moved to the capital in search of a better life but ended up falling apart. Almaz, their youngest child survived picking plastic waste at a large Central Asian market, to grow up a decent young man who learned English and travelled to Holland on a youth exchange programme in autumn 2009. Critics and sociologists believe this film is not just about one character, but about Kyrgyzstan as a whole.
