The FLEX Alumni Team in Moscow invites you to join a new project - Professional Mentoring Program - taking place February 22 through April 11.
The mission of the Program is to transmit the professional and personal experience of senior alumni to junior alumni for the common benefit of the community and each alumnus/alumna individually. By the means of this program the younger alumni will be able to practically develop the long-term plan of their careers with the expertise of their older peers, and the senior alumni will gain the experience of talent incubation and management. One tangible expected outcome of the Program includes younger alumni receiving internships and job offers. These might be in their mentors’ companies or in other leading companies of the market. We also believe this program will strengthen the cross-generation ties among alumni, and raise the level of communication and cooperation in our community.
The Mentoring Program in Moscow is a pilot project for a major Eurasia-wide initiative, which will later by implemented in the major FLEX alumni resident cities – Kyiv, St. Petersburg, Almaty, Baku, etc.
In the course of the Program a group of 10-15 outstanding older alumni with significant professional experience and successful careers will each take on the responsibility of guiding 1-2 younger alums, who are just starting their career paths in the same professional field. During the 9- week program all the Mentors and Mentees will participate in bigger trainings by renowned trainers and professionals, and will also meet regularly (once a week) in smaller Mentor+Mentee(s) teams to work on the personal cases, create and control the execution of personal development plans, discuss the trainings they've participated in, and share experience of their common professional field. The Program will present its results and recognize participants at a high-level reception with involvement of the US Embassy during the Moscow FLEX Alumni Professional Development Week 2010 (22-28 April).
